For twenty years I have been fascinated with health and wellness. By indulging my creative senses through recipe development, meal planning, and a series of daily dinners I called "Dining with Dale", I helped many people find pathways to better eating. I also found that creating and sharing healthy and delicious recipes filled me with a deep sense of happiness and purpose. While exploring these avenues of culinary creativity, I discovered a healthy twist to some of our favorite foods by using plant based/gluten free products. As I prepared (and ate!) tasty cauliflower pizza crusts, rolls, and snacks, I knew I had to bring these products to the world. I saw how two decades of corporate retail and healthy living could merge into a food company and Voila! Veggie Table Foods was born. At first I thought, "you have no clue how to start a business and no experience in the food industry". Fortunately, I quickly realized why should "not knowing how" stop me?! An extensive corporate retail background coupled with years of educating women on health and wellness, combined with raising two wonderful young women - clearly, I have been preparing for this dream come true moment my whole life. To maximize a successful outcome, I hired a business coach, found a manufacturer who helped me create the best version of my recipes, pitched my company to several panels of judges and investors, and was accepted into Babson College's WIN Lab Accelerator Program from entrepreneurial women. Thank you for joining us on this wild adventure! #LetsEat
